【English Translation】 《Collected Works of Tupten Tsundru》JKTT19《Essential Instructions on the Glorious Kalachakra: Key Points for Accomplishing the Wisdom Eye》 2-144 Essential Instructions on the Glorious Kalachakra: Key Points for Accomplishing the Wisdom Eye Essential Instructions on the Glorious Kalachakra: Key Points for Accomplishing the Wisdom Eye ༄༅། །Śrīkālacakrāya namaḥ. (Sanskrit: Śrīkālacakrāya namaḥ, meaning: Hail to the Glorious Wheel of Time!) The essential instructions on the Glorious Kalachakra for accomplishing the Wisdom Eye have three parts: showing the meaning of the name of the essential instruction; explaining the meaning of the text indicated by the name; and the activity of completing the entire text. The first part has two sections: the actual meaning of the name (in Indian language); and paying homage to the yidam (Glorious Vajra). The second part has two sections: vowing to explain the offering (body, speech, and mind) (Glorious One of Time); and showing how the fruit is obtained through the accomplishment of the essential instruction. This has two sections: the place where the accomplishment is done (charnel ground, under a tree); and how the fruit of accomplishment is obtained there. This has two sections: through the accomplishment of the five eyes, showing how Buddhahood is obtained in this very life and at the time of death. The first part has three sections: how to practice the accomplishment of the five eyes; showing how Buddhahood is attained through practice (nature); and (four) how the Bhagavan made the vow. The first part has two sections: the preliminaries (outer, inner, secret); and the actual accomplishment. This has four sections: the accomplishment of the flesh eye (including the central channel); the divine eye; the Dharma eye; the wisdom eye (general); and the Buddha eye. The second part (accomplishment of the divine eye) has three sections: the (vajra) of mind arising in the sky; (four) abiding in space; and (four) accomplishing through the union of two images. 2-145 The third part (accomplishment of the Dharma eye) has two sections: how to accomplish the two eyes; the nature of the two eyes that have been accomplished (all). The first part (how to accomplish the two eyes) has two sections: the accomplishment in brief (Bhagavan); and in detail. This has three sections: (four) inside the dhūtī; (four) at the gate of the life force; and (four) holding the clear light on top of appearance. The fourth part (accomplishment of the Buddha eye) has two sections: accomplishing the vision of the three kayas (now Buddha); and the five wisdoms (non-conceptual clarity). The second part has three sections: showing how to attain Buddhahood as the Dharmakaya at death (arising); as the Sambhogakaya in the bardo (death light); and (four) as the Nirmanakaya at rebirth. The activity of completing the text has two sections: the reason for writing down the essential instructions for eye accomplishment (Kalachakra knowledge); and reading the colophon of who composed (Time) the translation (Indian East).
