【English Translation】 Collected Teachings of Tsamponpa Sonam Gyaltsen JTSZ47: A Letter Presented to Chenpo Paljorwa A Letter Presented to Chenpo Paljorwa A Letter Presented to Chenpo Paljorwa Homage to the Lord of Speech, Jetsun Ngakgi Wangchuk! May auspicious perfections pervade all directions! In the midst of the great ocean of meritorious excellent teachings, the three trainings stand tall, with immaculate radiance. Among the golden garland of many scholars, you are eminently high, shining brightly as the glory of the four continents. You, the venerable spiritual friend, your white garland of words, strung together with the thread of love, Adorns my throat perfectly. It produces the sharp sound of precious reasoning, And radiates the splendor of the mane of scriptures. Three spiritual brothers have come here. In these degenerate times, sentient beings are of low intellect, with abundant afflictions. They have long abandoned beneficial actions done in the past, And diligently engage in non-virtuous deeds with the three doors. They attribute their own misdeeds to holy spiritual friends. Even when benefiting them, they often harm in a perverse way. It is difficult to accomplish the benefit of even one person, How much more so to fulfill the wishes of diverse beings? The mandala of scriptures is complete in all its parts, Radiating a hundred thousand rays of excellent teachings. It clearly illuminates the vast divine path of the supreme vehicle, And causes the lotus lake of intelligence to flourish. You, spiritual friend, are not a jewel in the sky. The Vajrayana, praised by all noble beings, gathers the essence of the heart, the stages of the three types of individuals. The key points of tummo (藏文：གཏུམ་མོ།，梵文天城體：चण्डालि，梵文羅馬擬音：caṇḍāli，漢語字面意思：猛厲火), illusory body, dream, clear light, Bardo (藏文：བར་དོ།，梵文天城體：अन्तराभव，梵文羅馬擬音：antarābhava，漢語字面意思：中陰) and transference are all completely received from the mouth of Mahaguru. These profound and excellent paths are difficult to find, and the support for practicing the good path is only this time. Since I do not want to increase conceptual thoughts in places of busyness, I intend to fly like a solitary swan to a secluded place built for supreme practice. I do not wish to accept the commands of powerful, uncontrolled rulers, nor the warm solicitations of close relatives. Bringing many worldly affairs, the honorable ones have come. I am unable to fulfill the responsibility of maintaining the monastic college's studies and discussions under Miwang Chenpo. I will seek learning, rely on holy individuals, and wander freely in all supreme places. If there is anyone who seeks liberation and is content, I will offer a few words of explanation and pray for your well-being! Thus, I have presented many requests. Until now, I have not been able to come to your feet, and I will present the detailed reasons when we meet. Auspicious time, with loving-kindness.
