【English Translation】 Collected Teachings of Master Ngawang Lodro Drakpa JNLD14: Uncommon Aspiration - Victorious Ocean Uncommon Aspiration - Victorious Ocean Uncommon Aspiration - Victorious Ocean Om Swasti! If you wish to make an uncommon aspiration, visualize that the omniscient Buddhas of the three times, Dolpopa (meaning 'person from the Do region') along with the gurus, yidams, Buddhas, Bodhisattvas, dakinis, Dharma protectors, and guardian deities are surrounding you from the ten directions. Then say these words: 'Victorious Ocean of assemblies, all the omniscient Jonangpa (referring to the Jonang school of Tibetan Buddhism) teachers and disciples, fathers and sons, along with the vast assembly of noble ones, please heed me! Please bless me! Please hold me with compassion! I prostrate with reverence in body, speech, and mind! I make offerings of all things to please you! I confess all misdeeds individually! I rejoice in all virtues! I urge you to turn the wheel of Dharma completely! I pray that you do not pass into nirvana! I sincerely take refuge! I generate the mind of enlightenment in order to attain your state! I will rely on the path of skillful means, conduct, and wonders! May I and all sentient beings, through the power of all the roots of virtue from doing good in the three times, doing what will be done, and the good that has been done, done by myself, caused to be done by others, and rejoicing in and praising what is done, may I and all sentient beings quickly attain the state of a fully enlightened Buddha! Omniscient Dharma King, an emanation of all the Buddhas of the three times, the great Dolpopa who possesses the four reliances, whose name is difficult to pronounce, Sherab Gyaltsen Palsangpo (meaning 'Banner of Wisdom, Glorious and Excellent'), may your teachings flourish in all directions and remain for a long time! May those who disbelieve in your teachings and the great beings who uphold them be led into faith. May all humans and non-humans, as well as gods and powerful spirits, promote the teachings of the omniscient one, endowed with the four reliances, and offer worship with reverence. May all humans and non-humans who believe in your teachings have long lives and be free from illness, and may all good desires, such as wealth, power, strength, and glory, be fulfilled without obstacles. May I enter the excellent biography of Gyalwa Jonangpa (རྒྱལ་བ་ཇོ་ནང་པ་ཆེན་པོ) in all lifetimes, may I only do what pleases you, and may I subdue all opponents with the Dharma sound that protects your intention. May all who hate and harm your teachings be subdued by various means of taming, and may they be placed in your teachings. 【English Translation】 May you rely on (the Guru) without separation! May you be proficient in all vehicles and uphold the view of Other-Emptiness Madhyamaka without separation! May you, endowed with samaya, transform all dualistic perceptions into yoga, and may all of that be the essence of Vajra Yoga! May the conduct of a Bodhisattva be perfected, and may you benefit others impartially! May all the main leaders, such as kings, gather under the rule of Dharma in accordance with Dharma, and may they be established on this excellent path of virtue! May all obstacles to the flourishing of your teachings be pacified into the expanse! May all favorable conditions that bring benefit, such as gain and respect, be accomplished effortlessly! May all actions and activities of samsara, nirvana, and the three realms become the cause for nourishing, propagating, maintaining, and increasing your teachings! May this become the foundation for the path of perfect liberation, the profound Madhyamaka path that avoids the extremes of permanence and annihilation, the definitive teachings that reveal the meaning of the Sugata-garbha free from elaboration, and may it spread in all ten directions! May the teachings of the omniscient Dharma King Jonangpa pervade all lands, never decline in any direction, and flourish and increase in all times! May the key points be grasped through the path of inseparable view and practice of Other-Emptiness Madhyamaka, which is the ultimate meaning of the sutras, and Vajra Yoga, which is the ultimate meaning of the tantras, so that all aspects of the Dharma may be clarified! May all who benefit and act in service to the teachings of the one who possesses the four reliances have long life, be free from illness, have abundant wealth, attain supreme power, and be without obstacles! May the Dharma protectors and hosts of spirits who protect the teachings of the omniscient Dolpopa, the Buddha of the three times, and who rejoice in the teachings, increase in power and protect the world! By the blessings of the lineage lamas, the power of the yidams and the ocean of Buddhas, and the strength of the dakinis, Dharma protectors, and guardians, may this aspiration be fulfilled as it is made! May all the Buddhas who appear in the ten directions and three times, the true Dharma of scripture and realization, the basis, path, and result, and the noble Sangha who abide on the path of the three vehicles, by the power of the truth of the Three Jewels, may this aspiration be accomplished without obstacles! By the truth of the ultimate Dharma-nature, which is primordially pure, the truth of conventional cause and effect, which is unfailing, and the truth of samadhi, mantras, and substances, may this aspiration be fulfilled!
