【English Translation】 《A Praise of the Supreme Land of Shambhala》 Homage to glorious Kalachakra! To the gurus who are the very nature of all the great and glorious tantras, Who, while beholding it themselves, show it to others, And to the primordial Buddhas, I pay homage! To those who have special love for beings, Who, while unmoving in the realm of dharma, Constantly work for the benefit of others through manifold emanations that pervade all the worlds, I pay homage! Especially, to those born in glorious Kalapa, Who, in the form of great Chakravartins, Clarify the Kalachakra on earth, to the Dharma King Rigdens, I pay homage! To Shambhala, which they frequent, Emanated by as many specks of dust as there are oceans of aspiration prayers, In order to make it a pure realm accomplished from the sphere of immaculate wisdom, A most supreme, stainless, and pure land, On this land of karma, in the northern part of the small Jambudvipa, Well arranged by the gods, Completely surrounded by a string of bright snow mountains, Twelve billion yojanas in circumference, Inside it, the central third of the lotus with eight beautiful petals, Is the Gesara tree, Famous as Mount Kailash. Possessing many fragrant flowers and fruits, Well adorned by a network of various trees, A playground for the accomplishment of precious medicines, Possessing many streams of water with eight qualities, Completely perfect with all the supreme aspects of marvel, Above the most beautiful and round, Is the supreme place known as Shambhala. In which more than a billion cities abide, The main one being glorious Kalapa, Twelve yojanas in length and width, Adorned with gold and various jewels, Possessing the joy and bliss of the supreme vehicle of Dharma, To that supreme noble palace, I pay homage! To its south, there is also one equal to it, In the center of the Malaya grove, The Kalachakra mandala born from the mother of the Buddhas, Completely perfect with five jewels, Four hundred kotis of cubits all around, The width of the outer vajra chain is also, Possessing twelve kotis of cubits, To that immaculate light, I pay homage! To its east is the lake of nearness, To the west is the white lotus lake. Filled with cool and fragrant water, Surrounded by fragrant and various flowers, Possessing beautiful flocks of birds with sweet sounds, Incense, flowers, fruits, trees, etc., Possessing more wealth than the gods, To Mount Kailash, I pay homage! 【現代漢語翻譯】 如是九十六俱胝（Koti，印度數字單位，一俱胝等於一千萬）人主，頭戴珍寶冠冕，九十六俱胝頂髻之寶珠光芒，照耀足下。 向已逝之法王，太陽之光芒，摧毀一切魔障者，頂禮膜拜！ 彼之子嗣，具權勢之月賢，執持諸佛之秘密寶藏，祈請根本大續，向金剛手（Vajrapani）頂禮膜拜！ 彼之種姓中，化身之鏈，地藏（Ksitigarbha）及持地神，閻魔摧毀者，具光輝者，除一切障之自在者月施，智慧摧毀者天神自在，蓮花摧毀者種種形相，虛空藏（Akasagarbha）天神自在。 於一切平等之一百年中，于大寶獅子座上，開示具德根本大續，擁有無上功德無盡寶藏，向十地自在者們頂禮膜拜！ 彼等種姓中，文殊金剛（Manjuvajra），以金剛種姓統一一切種姓，因此，向具德名聞種姓者，集結續部之王頂禮膜拜！ 彼之子嗣，諸佛之大悲，世間自在觀世音（Avalokiteshvara）持白蓮者，作廣大註釋之救怙主，向彼無垢蓮足頂禮膜拜！ 種姓者于種姓中開示續部之王，閻魔法王等十忿怒尊，其間有寂靜之佛子，地藏等十三位，賢善名勝善知識，自在紅掌遍入禁行者，日稱及極賢善，海勝名稱勝日，種種形相及月光無邊，護地具吉祥，獅子鎮伏者，大力無礙人獅子，大自在無邊名稱勝，天神威猛種姓者，令諸非天及異教徒生畏，于諸聖者具寂靜之自性，以妙相好莊嚴，具天眼及五神通等，圓滿自在聖者之功德，法之光明普照，照亮世間，向諸大菩薩頂禮膜拜！ 威猛之子，梵天自在，於前后之段落中說法，向具德文殊（Manjushri）世間怙主，不可思議之化身頂禮膜拜！ 其後，護光等八位，人主聖者共同者們，為眾生特別開示解脫道，向彼等一切頂禮膜拜並皈依！ 如是
【English Translation】 Thus, to the ninety-six kotis (Koti, an Indian numerical unit, one koti equals ten million) of human lords, crowned with precious jewels, whose ninety-six kotis of crown jewels' radiant light touches their feet. I prostrate to the feet of the past Dharma Kings, the sun's rays, who utterly destroy all obstacles! To their son, the powerful Moon Good, who holds the secret treasury of all Buddhas, who prays to the great root tantra, I prostrate to the feet of Vajrapani! In his lineage, a garland of incarnations, Ksitigarbha (Earth Essence) and the earth-holding deity, the Yama destroyer, the glorious one, the all-obscurations-removing lord Zla-sbyin (Moon Gift), the wisdom destroyer, the lord of gods, the Padma destroyer, various forms, and Akasagarbha (Space Essence), the lord of gods. For a hundred years equally, on the great precious lion throne, he taught the glorious root tantra, possessing the supreme qualities and endless treasures. I prostrate to the lords of the ten bhumis! From their lineage, Manjuvajra (Gentle Vajra), who unified all lineages with the Vajra lineage. Therefore, I prostrate to the glorious, renowned lineage holder, who compiled the king of tantras! His son, the great compassion of all Buddhas, the lord of the world, Avalokiteshvara (Worldly Powerful One) holding the white lotus, the supreme protector who made extensive commentaries, I prostrate to his stainless lotus feet! The lineage holder teaches the king of tantras within the lineage, the ten wrathful kings such as Yamaraja (Lord of Death), in between are the peaceful sons of the Buddhas, thirteen including Ksitigarbha (Earth Essence), the excellent Namgyal (Victorious Name), the excellent spiritual friend, the lord Miwang Chagmar (Red Hand), Khyabjug (All-Pervading) the hidden one, Nyima Drak (Sun Fame) and Shintu Zangpo (Extremely Good), Gyatso Namgyal (Ocean Victorious), Gyalka Nyima (Difficult Victorious Sun), various forms and Zla-od Taye (Moonlight Infinite), Sakyong Palskyong (Earth Protector Glorious Protector), Senggei Namnon (Lion's Utter Subduer), the mighty unobstructed human lion, the great powerful Taye Namgyal (Infinite Victorious Name), the powerful lineage holders of the gods, who bring fear to the non-gods and barbarians, and have a peaceful nature towards the holy ones, adorned with excellent marks and signs, possessing the divine eye and the five kinds of clairvoyance, etc., perfecting all the qualities of the powerful holy ones, spreading the light of Dharma, illuminating the world. I prostrate to the great Bodhisattvas! The powerful son, Brahma, the lord of gods, teaches the Dharma in the front and back sections. I prostrate to the glorious Manjushri (Gentle Glory), the protector of the world, whose emanations are inconceivable! 【English Translation】 Miwang Khorlo Chen (The one with the wheel of power), Khorlo Chegye Chen (The one with half a wheel of power), Dumbu Chen (The one with a fragment of power). We are plunged into the darkness of ignorance, please save us from this terrible samsara! I am controlled by the demon of afflictions, bound by the noose of karma. Remembering the unbearable suffering of samsara, I especially seek refuge in you. May the activities be in accordance with all these and what follows, may you clearly elucidate the essence of the tantras. I pay homage to Kalachakra's Naropa, and to the wise and accomplished masters of India and Tibet! Furthermore, wherever they may be, all the Buddhas and their retinues and disciples, and those who diligently uphold vows, practitioners of yoga, all those worthy of homage and offerings, I pay homage to you all! In the boundless pure lands, all the desirable and unpossessed excellent offerings, and the clouds of offerings arranged with devotion, I offer them permanently with the three kinds of purity. From beginningless time until now, I have been influenced by sinful friends, afflictions, and karma. All the sins I have committed, I confess them one by one with deep remorse. I rejoice in all virtuous deeds, I urge you to turn the wheel of Dharma, and I beseech you not to pass into nirvana. From now on, I will be your servant. At that time, please fully accept me, and in order to pacify the suffering of samsara, I will properly hold the precious Bodhicitta, and follow in your footsteps. Thus, with faith, I offer, praise, and take refuge in the holy ones, and whatever merit arises, for the sake of benefiting others, I dedicate it to the non-decline and increase of the three accumulations. Furthermore, from this life onwards in all lifetimes, may I possess steadfast faith, diligence, wisdom, and great compassion. May I have pure intention and extreme reverence, possess excellent courage and a perfect livelihood. May I abide in the precepts that please the Buddhas, be cared for by excellent spiritual friends. May I possess vast learning and stainless wisdom, attain excellent samadhi and control over my mind. May I possess beauty, eloquence, and the five kinds of clairvoyance, and may I be endowed with all virtues, obtaining the uncorrupted, self-arisen wisdom from the three trainings.

【English Translation】 In order to perfect all wisdom, may I constantly practice the ten perfections and the Vajra Yoga. By the great truth of the Three Jewels, may these prayers be fulfilled as desired. With my own merit, I have truly found Shambhala and the glorious Mount Kailash, which past Tibetan and Chinese scholars had not discovered. For a long time, my heart has been filled with joy. May I obtain faith in the holy place, the teacher, and the Dharma. When I abandon this body, may I be reborn in that pure land as a son of the Rigden. I uttered these words of prayer, and for the benefit of myself and others, I wrote this at the urging of the holy ones. Because this has never been proclaimed in this way before, if it sometimes contradicts your thoughts, please do not be displeased. Please completely abandon past bad habits and read the great commentary on the tantras with an unbiased mind.
