【English Translation】 The Second Excellent Aspiration Prayer Homage! May all the Victorious Ones and their spiritual children consider me! In this very life, in this very moment, may the alaya-vijñāna (kungaizhi namshe, Skt: ālayavijñāna, the basis of all things) with its habitual tendencies quickly cease, and may the wisdom of alaya (kungaizhi yeshe, Skt: ālayajñāna, the wisdom of the basis of all things) with its qualities be quickly attained, so that I may benefit beings with various forms. In this very life, in this very moment, may the excellent root virtue quickly arise, and may the moment of the transference of winds and mind quickly cease, so that I may quickly attain the great bliss of the unconditioned. In this very life, in this very moment, may the karmic winds in the six chakras (khorlo druk, Skt: ṣaṭcakra, the six energy centers in the body) quickly cease, and may the wisdom winds quickly traverse the places, so that I may quickly attain the all-pervading, eternal Buddhahood. In this very life, in this very moment, may the unchanging supreme bliss of a moment, twenty-one thousand six hundred, be quickly completed, so that I may quickly attain the eternal great bliss pervading the sky. In this very life, in this very moment, may all conceptualizations quickly cease, and may the perfectly accomplished nature be quickly attained, so that with various forms, I may accomplish all the benefits of beings pervading the sky. In this very life, in this very moment, may I quickly attain all the qualities such as the King of Power, the Akashagarbha (khamdzö tingdzin, Skt: ākāśagarbha, the space treasury) Samadhi, so that I may quickly bring great benefit to the teachings and beings. In this very life, in this very moment, may true wisdom quickly arise in my mindstream, and may conceptualizations and other-power quickly cease, so that I may attain the unchanging, perfectly accomplished Suchness. In this very life, in this very moment, may the six limbs of Vajra Yoga (dorje naljor yenlak druk, Skt: vajrayoga ṣaḍaṅga, the six branches of Vajra Yoga) be perfected, and may the outer and inner adventitious stains quickly cease, so that I may quickly attain the Buddhahood that is superior to others. In this very life, in this very moment, may all the purifying antidotes quickly arise, and may all the stains to be purified quickly be exhausted, so that I may quickly attain many qualities of the basis to be purified. In this very life, in this very moment, may I quickly attain many qualities of the result of purification, so that with various forms, I may benefit beings and spread the precious teachings everywhere. In this very life, in this very moment, may the fully endowed Dharma pervade everywhere, so that all the evil and false teachings that possess the faults of the three (gsamden marche, referring to lax discipline, misconduct, and wrong views) may quickly decline. In this very life, in this very moment, may I quickly attain the common and supreme accomplishments, so that with various emanations, I may subdue the hordes of demons and place all beings on the correct path.

【English Translation】 May in this very life, in this very moment, All faults be swiftly exhausted, All virtues be swiftly attained to perfection, And may I swiftly accomplish great benefit for the teachings and beings. Through the blessings of the Three Jewels of ultimate truth, Through the blessings of the Three Jewels of conventional truth, And through the power and strength of all the accumulated merits, May these aspirations be swiftly fulfilled just as they are wished! This second extraordinary aspiration was composed by Gyal Kham Pa Dtonpa Zhiden. (The original is only the Dzamtang edition.)
