【English Translation】 The Measurement for Constructing a Stupa Homage to the Buddha! The stupa of the Buddha, the Bhagavan (Sanskrit, Bhagavan, the Blessed One), is in accordance with the mandala where the Buddha resides in the center, its height being sixty-two and a half fingers. Divide it into five parts, each part being: the base, the lower abdomen, the upper abdomen, the neck to the urna hair between the eyebrows, and the urna hair to the crown of the head. Each part is thirteen and a half fingers. In terms of width: the base is square, measured directly as twenty-five fingers. Its four sides have protrusions, each protrusion being one-third of the base. The dimension of the outward protrusion is two and a half fingers. Above it is a round lotus base, the width being the same as the base, and the height being four fingers. Above it is a round abdomen, the width being twenty-five fingers, the upper and lower parts being the same. The height is also the same, both being nine and a half fingers. In the center of the upper and lower abdomen is the mandala of the heart, the height being four fingers, and the width being the same as the edge of the lotus. The width of the base of the lotus petals is the same as the abdomen. The upper abdomen is round like the head of a shoulder. Above it is a square neck, the height being four fingers, and the width being eight and one-third fingers. One-third of the neck is the dimension of the protrusions on the four sides. The dimension of the outward protrusion is one-half finger. Above it is a square face, the height being nine and a half fingers, and the width being thirteen and a half fingers, one-third of which is the width of the protrusions on the four sides. The dimension of the outward protrusion is three and a quarter fingers. Above it is thirteen and a half fingers, which should be made into a series of thirteen umbrellas, including the handle and the top of the umbrella. The width of the umbrella is the size of a seven-tiered umbrella. If the face is dissected, the length of the nose is four fingers, and the length from below the nose to the end of the chin is five and a half fingers. The fingers mentioned here are all the size of one twenty-fifth of a Khru. The base is also called the foundation, and the upper and lower abdomen are also called the upper and lower vases. The neck is the same as Bré, and the face is the same as the lotus. Thus, the majestic mountain of the Dharmakaya is the stupa. Just as Mount Sumeru in the world is surrounded by the sun, moon, and so on, may all sentient beings circumambulate the stupa of the Tathagata and hold it with devotion and reverence! This was also created by one with seven qualities.
