Om Guru Buddha Bodhisattvebhyo Namo Namah (Tibetan: ཨོཾ་གུ་རུ་བུདྡྷ་བོ་དྷི་སཏྭེ་བྷྱོཿན་མོ་ན་མཿ, Sanskrit Devanagari: ओṃ गुरु बुद्ध बोधिसत्त्वे भ्यो नमोनमः, Sanskrit Roman transliteration: oṃ guru buddha bodhisattvebhyo namo namaḥ, Literal Chinese meaning: Om, salutations to the gurus, buddhas, and bodhisattvas). Though transcending the three realms, you manifest the forms of the three realms; free from the nature of subtle particles, yet the form of all that is stable and moving. Though abandoning the union of body and senses, you constantly enjoy great desire. I prostrate to the realm of the Tathagatagarbha, which is inconceivable and difficult to fathom. With perfect and meaningful deeds of the Victorious One, you endlessly embrace all beings; with the banner of the three trainings extremely firm, you illuminate the white fame. With the inexhaustible wealth of good teachings, you satisfy all wise beings. With excellent wisdom, you know all that is to be known; I prostrate to the feet of that supreme Lama. Thus, you are the glory of all beings, and you regard all sentient beings as your only child. Even to the beggars of the kingdom, you look with eyes of great compassion, bestowing excellent documents adorned with perfect words and meanings, and generous gifts, thereby reviving my disheartened mind and bestowing upon me unparalleled grace. I beseech you to take care of your health for the sake of the precious Dharma and the benefit of immeasurable beings. I beseech you to continue to support, in all aspects, those Dharmas that encompass both scripture and realization, and those who uphold them. I humbly offer a thin roll of silk as a token of presenting this letter. Not clinging to one's own happiness, but donning the supreme armor for the benefit of others. May the holy person, like the sun, be as steadfast as Mount Meru! May the Dharma and its upholders flourish in every way, and may the ultimate meaning of the Dharma—the Third Turning of the Wheel—and the teachings of the Tathagatagarbha—the first Buddha—especially flourish!
