【English Translation】 The King of Supplications Homage to the Guru, Buddhas, Bodhisattvas! Homage! To the Sugata-garbha (Tathāgatagarbha) – the self-arisen wisdom residing without difference in all sentient beings, and to those who manifestly demonstrate the first Buddha of the Wheel of Time (Kālacakra), I respectfully prostrate and take refuge! Please, with great compassion, always hold me in your care. Just as a lamp resides inside a vase, the clear light Dharmakāya (chos sku) resides within conceptual thought, to the feet of the Guru who manifestly demonstrates the supreme method of Vajra Yoga, I bow. Just as the sun and moon are obscured by clouds, the naturally clear light is obscured by conceptual thought, to the feet of the Guru who manifestly demonstrates the supreme method of Vajra Yoga, I bow. Just as a great treasure is in the house of a poor person, the primordial Buddha always resides in beings, to the feet of the Guru who manifestly demonstrates the supreme method of Vajra Yoga, I bow. Just as a jewel is covered by unclean mud, the Sugata-garbha always resides in beings, to the feet of the Guru who manifestly demonstrates the supreme method of Vajra Yoga, I bow. Just as the form of a Victorious One is in ragged clothes, self-arisen wisdom resides within conceptual thought, to the feet of the Guru who manifestly demonstrates the supreme method of Vajra Yoga, I bow. Just as a Universal Monarch resides in the womb, Mahāmudrā (phyag chen) Bodhicitta resides in a stainless matrix, to the feet of the Guru who manifestly demonstrates the supreme method of Vajra Yoga, I bow. Just as pure water resides in an underground chamber, the Wheel of Time always resides in beings, to the feet of the Guru who manifestly demonstrates the supreme method of Vajra Yoga, I bow. Just as fire resides in wood, ཨེ་ཝཾ (藏文)，एवं (梵文天城體)，evam (梵文羅馬擬音)，Thus (漢語字面意思) constantly benefits beings, With its supreme method, the Vajra Yoga, Before the Lama who manifestly shows realization, I prostrate. Like the essence of grain within the husk, Chakrasamvara constantly benefits beings, With its supreme method, the Vajra Yoga, Before the Lama who manifestly shows realization, I prostrate. Like the element of iron in an iron mountain, Mahamudra constantly benefits beings, With its supreme method, the Vajra Yoga, Before the Lama who manifestly shows realization, I prostrate. Like honey within the bodies of many bees, The Net of Illusion constantly benefits beings, With its supreme method, the Vajra Yoga, Before the Lama who manifestly shows realization, I prostrate. Just as silver is in silver ore, Vajrasattva constantly benefits beings, With its supreme method, the Vajra Yoga, Before the Lama who manifestly shows realization, I prostrate.
