Homage to Saraswati (Yangchenma), the goddess of speech! Now, I shall recite the praise to Amitayus, called 'Immortal Radiance,' which has a light that resounds in all directions. In the center of a lotus of a myriad of virtues and perfections, upon a flawless full moon, May the Bhagavati (referring to Amitayus), whose color resembles a ruby, grant the attainment of longevity to all beings in samsara and nirvana. Free from sudden, natural impurities, adorned with various silks and precious ornaments, With hands placed at the heart, holding a long-life vase filled with immortal nectar. Having a hairstyle with five perfect tufts, braids as black as eye medicine, gently swaying, Spreading a fragrant web of light, adorned with soft, pure Liwi flowers (a type of flower). Well-born from the roots of the three (non-attachment, non-anger, non-ignorance) kinds of compassion, bearing the great burden of liberating beings, Possessing the wisdom of the manifest, stainless Dharmadhatu, standing gracefully with both feet together. For the countless, pure, and immeasurable beings to be tamed, In the treasure source of their pure minds, your body blooms like a thousand-petaled white lotus. I prostrate to the guide of the swan (referring to Amitayus) of this perfect Rupakaya (form body). Remembering your glorious body, complete with major and minor marks, in an instant, The nature of bliss, clarity, and emptiness manifests, and in that pure realm, Countless noble beings are clearly seen. If one contemplates your virtuous speech, the sixty qualities of Brahma's voice will arise, And one will attain the undefiled speech Dharani, which reveals the Four Noble Truths, like the great drum of the gods. Your Samadhi (meditative concentration) is like the expanse of the sky, unwavering, like a wish-fulfilling jewel, for the benefit of beings. From the effortless actions of benefiting beings, one will realize inconceivable meanings and abandon all conceptual thoughts. Bhagavan, with great compassion, you bestow upon limitless beings, The attainment of immortal life until the attainment of great Bodhi, May the four activities (pacifying, increasing, magnetizing, and subduing) benefit beings and bring auspiciousness. By the merit of this composition, may all sentient beings pervading the sky, Attain the supreme state of immortal sovereignty, May the excellent path of the Great Vehicle be fully revealed, and may they benefit beings in the Dharmakaya. This is the praise to the Protector Amitayus, called 'Moonlight.'
