【English Translation】 Collection of Teachings by Ngawang Lodro Drakpa JNLD195: A Prayer for the Flourishing of the Definitive and Complete Doctrine A Prayer for the Flourishing of the Definitive and Complete Doctrine Oṃ Svaasti (藏文：ༀ་སྭ་སྟི།，梵文天城體：ॐ स्वस्ति，梵文羅馬擬音：oṃ svasti，漢語字面意思：May there be well-being!). From the wondrous play of the net of illusion, may the greatness of auspicious glory be perfected. Subduing beings of the three realms, I prostrate to the master, the lord of the Dharmakaya. The subtle emanations of his three secrets appear to beings to be tamed in degenerate times. May the teachings of Mati flourish, and may the merit of accumulating virtue and spreading the Dharma increase. May we, having passed away from this gathering, be born in the supreme land of Shambhala, in the presence of the root guru. May we be free from all obstacles and impairments, and may we become disciples of the guru immediately upon birth. May we have the good fortune to enter the great secret supreme vehicle, and may we be blessed with empowerments, transmissions, and profound instructions, perfecting the excellent aspects of the stages of the path. Through the force of past habits and the blessings of the guru, may we renounce samsara and generate the altruistic mind of enlightenment. May we swiftly realize the definitive and complete view, both in general and in particular, regarding the profound view. Thereby, may we purify all impure ordinariness and realize the wisdom of the self-existing three wheels of secrets. In the path of whatever diverse play arises, may the supreme yoga of the first stage flourish. May the wisdom mandala, which is fabricated by conceptual mind, be completely exhausted, and may the innate Dharma-nature arise as deity. May we perfectly accomplish the two stages, manifesting as they are the great array of all aspects of reality. In such a great accumulation of merit and wisdom, may we perform the two benefits of self and others like a magical illusion. Without discrimination towards beings as vast as space, may we swiftly accomplish the great activity of the primordial Dharmakaya. Until we attain that state, may we rely on the blessings of the glorious guru. May we purify the obstacles to the Dharma and the impairments of vows, and may all our wishes be fulfilled as desired. The Dharmakaya of the supreme guru pervades the sphere of space, the ultimate refuge of the Three Jewels, the lord of the ocean of tantras. From the beginning, it abides in the state of non-duality of ground and result. By that power, may the meaning of this prayer be unwavering! This prayer for the flourishing of the definitive and complete doctrine is an exhortation to encourage the students to generate aspiration. It was composed spontaneously by Dar Mati.
