【English Translation】 Collection of Teachings by Ngawang Lodro Drakpa JNLD360: Abridged Water Offering Abridged Water Offering Abridged Water Offering Abridged Water Offering: I take refuge in the Guru and the Three Jewels, May I spread benefit and happiness to all beings. In an instant, I become the embodiment of Avalokiteśvara, Complete with ornaments, the six-syllable mantra clear at my heart. (Six-syllable mantra: ༀ་ཨཱཿཧཱུཾ།，Om Ah Hum，Om Ah Hum，body, speech and mind three words) With the power of yoga and mantra, I offer this water, To the assembly of root and lineage glorious Lamas. May the blessings of body, speech, and mind, Increase wisdom and strength in the true Dharma. Likewise, combine the preceding verse with the three syllables, I offer to the assembly of Yidam victorious ones. May you protect us with great compassion, And shower down the two siddhis like rain. I offer to the infallible refuge, the Three Jewels, As protectors in this and future lives, I beseech you to protect us with unwavering compassion. I offer to the classes of the three places of the Ḍākinīs, May the blessings of the three secrets be well transferred to the heart, And may you grant the bliss-great wisdom through the lineage. I offer to the Dharma protectors who have the eye of wisdom, May you dispel all outer, inner, and secret obstacles, And may you accomplish all that is in accordance with the Dharma. I offer to the entire group of the glorious protectors of the pure lineage, May you dispel all obstacles and increase harmony, And may you make all connections through the three doors be only with the Dharma. I offer to all the groups of Yaksha wealth deities, May the poverty and suffering of the kingdom be pacified, And may prosperity and wealth increase in every way. I offer to all those who hold vows well before the Victorious Ones, And to all other oath-bound ones, May you spread the Buddha's teachings in all directions. I give to all who have become guests of compassion for the six realms, May they become the enjoyment of whatever each needs, And may they revel in the glory of temporary benefit and happiness. I give to all who are obstructors and debtors, May they be as they wish, May all desires be fulfilled and all debts be cleared. Especially, I give to the hungry and thirsty pretas, May the suffering of hunger and thirst be pacified, And may their minds be moistened with the profound Dharma. To those who have not obtained, not arrived, are weak, and have little power, Whatever they may be, I give whatever they desire, May they enjoy freely and be satisfied. Thus, possessing the supreme qualities of desire, Opening the door of offering with this well-made offering, May we perfect the great accumulation of pure merit, And may the conditions for the teachings and beings be supreme.

【現代漢語翻譯】 愿迅速成就！ 祈願上師、本尊、三寶的加持， 令如虛空般的眾生，福樂之光得以顯現。 愿三界輪迴的痛苦迅速止息， 令眾生能行持諸佛的甚深密意。 祈願空行母、護法以及具足智慧之眼者， 以及具誓的財神、夜叉等部多眷屬， 善妙扶持佛教的興盛，令所有地區， 長久享有安樂富饒。 以慈悲佈施于怨親債主及弱小眾生， 以此佈施之力， 平息他們各自的痛苦，愿我們 往昔的業債得以清凈，圓滿廣大之福德資糧。 通常唸誦這些就足夠了，如果想更詳細地修持，在觀想頭頂本尊之後， 從心間放出光明，從殊勝或低劣的處所， 瞬間迎請所有供養和佈施的賓客。 以自身能力變幻出無盡的、 符合他們意願的圓滿功德寶藏。 唸誦三字明（唵啊吽，藏文：ཨོཾ་ཨཱཿཧཱུྃ，梵文天城體：ओम् आः हूँ，梵文羅馬擬音：oṃ āḥ hūṃ，身語意）一遍，以及七遍桑巴哈咒（藏文，梵文天城體，梵文羅馬擬音，漢語字面意思），在每一位賓客前唸誦，然後在完成上述供水后， 愿賓客們安然返回各自的處所， 並在下次供養和佈施時如約而至。 愿以此功德，令如母有情眾生， 不久之後，從輪迴的苦海中解脫。 這個簡略的施食儀軌，是應一位法友的意願，由瑪迪筆錄，並由法友本人記錄下來。愿吉祥！
【English Translation】 May it be swiftly accomplished! Through the blessings of the Guru, Yidam, and Supreme Three Jewels, May the splendor of benefit and happiness dawn upon beings as vast as the sky. May the suffering of the three realms of samsara be swiftly pacified, And may we engage in the profound intentions of the Rare and Supreme Ones. May the Dakinis, Dharma Protectors, and those with eyes of wisdom, As well as the glorious protectors, Yakshas, and oath-bound classes, Well uphold the banner of the teachings, and may all lands, Be sustained with ease, wealth, and glory for a long time. To the guests of compassion, those burdened by karmic debts, and the vulnerable, Through the power of giving whatever they desire, May all their individual sufferings be pacified, and may we, Purify all grudges and perfectly complete the great accumulation. Usually, reciting just this much is sufficient, but if you wish to elaborate, after the visualization of the deity on the crown of the head, From the heart, radiate light, and from superior or inferior places, Instantly invite all the guests of offering and generosity. Transforming into an inexhaustible treasury of perfect qualities, According to their wishes. May everything be complete without anything lacking. Recite the three syllables (Oṃ Āḥ Hūṃ, 藏文：ཨོཾ་ཨཱཿཧཱུྃ，梵文天城體：ओम् आः हूँ，梵文羅馬擬音：oṃ āḥ hūṃ，body, speech, and mind) once, and the Sambhara mantra seven times, before each guest, and after completing the above water offering, May the guests return peacefully to their respective places, And may they come again as promised at the next offering and generosity. By this merit, may all mother sentient beings, Soon be liberated from the ocean of samsara. This concise water offering was written by Mati at the request of a Dharma friend, and recorded by the friend himself. May all be auspicious!
