【English Translation】 Ngagwang Lodro Drakpa's Teachings JNLD268 Ngagwang Sonam Zangpo Nyerkhö Lama Gyangbö Zhuk. Ngagwang Sonam Zangpo Nyerkhö Lama Gyangbö Zhuk. Namo Guru! The Dharmakaya (chos sku) of all-pervading, Sugata-garbha (bde gshegs snying po), which has existed from the very beginning, from the Buddhas and their sons to all sentient beings, as the ultimate reality, has never been separated. Therefore, according to the true way of abiding, the Dharmakaya, which is the nature of the root guru, is no different from the Dharmakaya of all the Buddhas. Because from the wisdom intention of such a root guru, there is nothing that cannot be emanated by merely focusing the mind on whatever deity of the vast ocean of tantras needs to be emanated, the root guru himself is also the basis of emanation for the lord of the family and the assembly of deities of the tantras. All the Buddhas of the three times generally have great compassion, but since there is no opportunity to tame oneself at this time, one has not seen their faces or heard their teachings. The only protector who saves us from all the sufferings of this life and the next and performs immeasurable benefits on this body is the root guru who has taken us into the teachings of the Buddha by bestowing Dharma, empowerment, and instructions. Who is more kind than that? Such a guru is a virtuous friend who is emanated by all the objects of refuge to tame us. Therefore, by merely having faith and prostrating to the guru, one is accumulating merit for all the objects of refuge. Therefore, it is important to pray and call out to the root guru with heartfelt devotion. As follows: Marvelous! May it be the glory of the ocean of blessings, The essence of the root and lineage gurus combined, The lord of the family of the ocean of Yidam tantras, The actual Three Jewels, the venerable guru, Ngagwang Sonam Zangpo, please be mindful! There is no other refuge besides you, Wherever you are now, Please lead and welcome us there, The master of the emanations of Dakinis and Dharma protectors, In this degenerate age, the incomparable guide of beings, The manifestation of the dance of the visible saffron robes, The supreme guide who is suitable for those to be tamed, Ngagwang Sonam Zangpo... In the past, the guru, with great compassion, Lovingly cared for all of us, Causing us to encounter the Dharma in this life, Bestowing the auspicious first connection.

【English Translation】 Khenpo (Abbot). Ngakwang Sonam: Relying on this very life, no matter how the karma accumulated in the past manifests, may my mind never be separated from the Dharma. Therefore, the infinitely kind Guru, Ngakwang Sonam, Supreme Protector Guru, your compassion now bestows upon me the good fortune to measure the Buddha's teachings, which is more valuable than any small benefit. Ngakwang Sonam, according to the natural way of abiding, the Dharmakaya of all Buddhas is the sole profound state, the nature of the root Guru's mind, in reality, has no distinction between good and bad. Ngakwang Sonam, when the wisdom intention is realized, the great display of emanations of the ocean of Tantras appears, the wonderful deeds of taming beings according to their needs, are continuous and unbroken. Ngakwang Sonam, those of us who have not been tamed by the Buddhas of the three times, past, present, and future, and are without Dharma, if not for you, the guide and virtuous friend, who else would embrace us with compassion? Ngakwang Sonam Zangpo, therefore, among all the Buddhas and Bodhisattvas, your kindness to me is especially profound, Supreme Root Guru Rinpoche, besides you, I have no other refuge. Ngakwang Sonam, since I took this life, you have been my sole refuge, even if I have accumulated extremely small merits, even if I have committed a slight fault, it is all thanks to the kindness of the Root Guru. No one has benefited me like you, you are a great protector greater than parents, I remember you from the bottom of my heart, I pray to you. From this life to the distant future, no matter what lives I experience, may you always be my Guru, with compassionate care, never be negligent.
