Endless kindness... etc. For those of us with ignorant minds, You lovingly treat all disciples, you are the Guru who teaches us to adopt the good and abandon the bad, Your kindness is vast and boundless, unparalleled. Endless kindness... etc. Like a lotus abandoned by the sunlight, Like a lone goose separated from the lotus pond, similarly, a disciple abandoned by the Guru, Please never abandon us, but cherish us with endless compassion. I am sincere, I am sincere, I am sincere from the bottom of my heart! I yearn, I yearn, I yearn for you! You know, you know, please look upon us with compassion! I call out from afar with a clear voice! May you, from the vast realm of Dharmakaya, Expand your compassionate wisdom eyes, the pitiful disciple with a mournful song, Calls out in this way, may you fulfill my wishes! 【English Translation】 You spare no effort to impart all the teachings of Sutra and Tantra. With your great compassion and virtuous deeds, you teach according to the needs of sentient beings, taming them. Your kindness is unparalleled… (omitted below). You are the sole source of great and perfect virtues, the supreme sacred heart of clear light wisdom, the ultimate Dharmakaya pervading Samsara and Nirvana, and the lord of wondrous and miraculous illusions. Your kindness… (omitted below). You are the extraordinary embodiment of unchanging great bliss wisdom, the union of emptiness and form, possessing all perfections. You manifest the mandala of all lineages without exception, and you are the sole sovereign of the great joy wheel. Your kindness… (omitted below). You display various emanated dance postures according to what needs to be tamed. You descend into the darkness of ignorance in this degenerate age, and with compassion, you embrace us, turning our minds towards the Dharma. All this is due to your kindness. Your kindness… (omitted below). Although I am fortunate to meet you now, due to the influence of karma and afflictions, shortcomings are inevitable. You know all of this. I beseech you to use your body, speech, and mind to make up for my faults and deficiencies. I deeply regret the sins I have committed in the past; in the future, even if my life is at stake, I will strive to abandon evil and do good. Therefore, I implore you to always watch over me with compassion and never abandon me. You, the root Guru, are my only protector. Wherever you are, I pray to you. Whatever good or bad circumstances I encounter, I rely on your protection. You are my only refuge. May the glorious Guru look upon me with compassion, never separating from me in this life and the next, and remain the master of my lineage, blessing my body, speech, and mind to become inseparable from yours. This 'Longing Call to the Guru' was written by Mati at the request of Sherab Zangpo (Wisdom Excellent). Venerable Lord of Speech, Vajradhara, you are the refuge, the protector who benefits beings. With your inseparable wisdom, you increase our devotion to the Dharma. I pray to the glorious root Guru.
