In the center of pure rainbow light swirling in front of me. Upon a lion throne, lotus, moon, sun, and Rahu. The essence of my own root guru. The lord of all families, victorious Vajradhara. Body color blue, two legs in vajra posture. One face, two hands holding vajra and bell at the heart. Clear and complete with marks and signs, adorned with silk and precious jewels. Magnificent with the attire of complete enjoyment. From the miraculous emanations of his three secrets. Surrounding in order are the root and lineage gurus. Yidam deities, refuge, and the Three Jewels. Accompanied by assemblies of dakinis, protectors, and guardians. Each with their own retinue and miraculous deeds. Immeasurable displays pervade all of dharmadhatu space. All of these are emanations of the guru. Manifest as fields for accumulating my merit. The Vajradhara who embodies all families. Including the lineage, up to the root guru. To all of them, I pray with reverence. May all my downfalls and breakages be purified. Bless my mindstream to be mingled with the Dharma. Refuge, guru, yidam, Three Jewels. Dakinis, protectors, all those with wisdom eyes. From now until enlightenment, I rely on you for refuge. There is no other hope, please hold me with compassion. I pray that you protect me and others from the fears of samsara and nirvana. Sentient beings as infinite as the sky. Have been my parents countless times, with immeasurable kindness. In order to place them all in the state of perfect enlightenment. I will first accomplish the state of enlightenment. In an instant, all the miraculous emanations of the guru are gathered. On a lotus and moon seat on the crown of my head. Emerge as the form of Guru Vajrasattva. With a body the color of a white conch, possessing blazing light. Heruka, the glorious father and mother in union. Adorned with bone ornaments and holding their own family emblems. With the seed syllables of the four vajras in the four places. Abiding in a state of non-duality of samaya and jnana. In his heart, in the center of a full moon. Hūṃ at the center of a vajra, surrounded by the hundred-syllable mantra. Holding my mind with a white beam of light. Again, with deep regret for past misdeeds. And with a firm vow to refrain from them in the future. In the intervals, nectar flows, filling the entire body.
