【English Translation】 On every path, all the food and drink you desire are abundant. The air is filled with the rich scent of medicinal incense and burning incense. Pure white snow mountains, beautiful and radiant. With the brightest and most excellent light shining, Obscuring the light of the sun and moon in the sky. There are countless wondrous sights. That pure land's environment and beings are so prosperous, Naturally increasing virtuous deeds. With a pure heart, generate respect for all things, With a strong desire, wishing to be reborn in that pure land. All the virtuous deeds I strive for here, May they become the cause for rebirth in that glorious Shambhala pure land. May the good wishes I pray for be quickly fulfilled, May the fruits I expect manifest as they are. From the auspicious arising of the joyous feast of goodness, In that Shambhala pure land, may I obtain a body endowed with six perfections. May I obtain the best channels, energies, and bindus, and the most excellent faculties, Becoming a fortunate one, obtaining the position of the supreme place of taming. There, through the profound teachings of the Dharma King, In this very life, may I perfect the great secret path. When the ripened body dissolves, may I transform into the united light body, May I attain the eternal state of the primordial Dharmakaya. This aspiration prayer called 'Praise of Shambhala: Opening the Door to the Pure Land' was hastily written under the name of Mati, at the earnest request of my beloved Dharma friends Yontan Zang and Tsuntrul Dpal.
