【English Translation】 Collected Teachings of Ngawang Lodro Drakpa, JNLD193: A Concise Aspiration Prayer for the Land of Manifest Joy A Concise Aspiration Prayer for the Land of Manifest Joy A Concise Aspiration Prayer for the Land of Manifest Joy Victorious One, All-Seeing, Compassionate Lord! Refuge of all beings, Sugata, Immovable Protector! May you and all your sons and daughters heed me now! By the virtue of whatever I strive for here, may all be free from obstacles! By the power of whatever merit I accumulate, May the good deeds accumulated in the past ripen even in this life! May the causes that closely connect with pure Dharma, And whatever good deeds are done from any direction, be fully accomplished! Through meeting the teachings of the Victorious One, May I, according to my own capacity, engage in the profound Dharma! By means of hearing, contemplation, and meditation, May I leave no small mark! May I have the power and ability to grasp the essence of the teachings! From this life until the distant end of future lives, May there be no obstacles to practicing the sacred Dharma! May I complete my life with correct actions, And may the deluded appearances at the time of death be cleared away! In particular, may there be no piercing pain, And may whatever appears be the great deeds of the Victorious Ones and their sons and daughters! May the blissful and joyful pure visions be wondrous, And may I pass through death and the bardo! Then, after I and others have passed away from this life, As soon as this body of birth is abandoned, Without being separated by another birth, May I be transferred to the realm of Manifest Joy! When the Victorious One, the Immovable Lord, was a great bodhisattva in the past, During the time of his virtuous deeds on the path of a bodhisattva, May the supreme pure land, completely purified, Be the land of Manifest Joy where I am born! From the light of the mind of the All-Seeing Guide, May the immeasurable collection of precious particles that arise well, The unparalleled abundance of the vessel, Be the land of Manifest Joy where I am born! Vast and beautiful, surrounded by mountains, Adorned with gold, silver, pearls, and other supreme elements, May the fully perfected excellent ground, Be the land of Manifest Joy where I am born! In the center of that land is the palace of the Victorious One, Wonderfully arranged according to the faculties and inclinations of those to be tamed, May the celestial mansions be fully expanded, Be the land of Manifest Joy where I am born! In the center of the Dharma palace, on the Dharma throne, Are placed the lotus feet of the Victorious Immovable King, Clearly present and dwelling amidst the various assemblies, May I be born in that land of Manifest Joy! The supreme body of the Victorious One is a dance of illusion, According to the faculties and inclinations of the diverse assemblies, Wondrous miracles are constantly displayed, May I be born in that land of Manifest Joy! 【現代漢語翻譯】 在調伏眾生的無盡深廣法門中，愿所有應被調伏的眾產生熟解脫，往生到極樂凈土（藏文：མངོན་པར་དགའ་བའི་ཞིང་，漢語字面意思：顯現歡喜的凈土）。 雖然智慧如海，深不可測，但願我能在其中顯現各種化身，以無礙的智慧，剎那間救度無量眾生，往生到極樂凈土。 諸佛的調伏之地，其眷屬如海，廣大無垠，如同廣闊大地上的微塵般不可計數，在那裡，人們通過學習三乘佛法度過時光，愿我能往生到極樂凈土。 愿我能往生到極樂凈土，在那裡，不動佛（藏文：མི་འཁྲུགས་རྒྱལ་མཆོག་）及其眷屬所展現的奇妙景象，時時刻刻都在展現極樂的莊嚴。 愿我能往生到極樂凈土，那裡是圓滿清凈的凈土，擁有卓越的器世界和有情眾生，以及一切美好的事物，與此地有緣者，必能往生，絕不虛妄。 往生到那裡之後，愿我和所有應被調伏的眾生，都能親近不動佛甚深微妙的教誨，在這一生、這一世，達到斷證的最高境界。 愿我能以此方式，圓滿成就永恒安樂的果位，在輪迴的盡頭，救度一切有情眾生，以自然成就、永不欺騙的善行，獲得自利利他的無邊功德。 如是所愿，愿所有願望都能如實實現，憑藉薄伽梵不動佛的慈悲，以及清凈無染的深妙資糧，愿一切真實都能及時成就。 這篇極樂凈土祈願文，是應具精進功德的敦珠仁波切（藏文：བརྩོན་འགྲུས་དཔལ་）所請，由瑪迪（藏文：མ་ཏི）所書。
【English Translation】 In the boundless and profound Dharma gates that tame beings, may all who are to be tamed mature and be liberated, and be born in the Land of Manifest Joy (Tibetan: མངོན་པར་དགའ་བའི་ཞིང་). Although wisdom is like an ocean, its depths unfathomable, may I manifest various emanations within it, with unobstructed wisdom, saving countless beings in an instant, and be born in the Land of Manifest Joy. The taming ground of the Buddhas, its retinue like an ocean, vast and boundless, uncountable as the dust on the wide earth, where beings spend their time learning the three vehicles of Dharma, may I be born in the Land of Manifest Joy. May I be born in the Land of Manifest Joy, where the wondrous sights displayed by the supreme Buddha Akshobhya (Tibetan: མི་འཁྲུགས་རྒྱལ་མཆོག་) and his retinue, constantly radiate the splendor of Manifest Joy. May I be born in the Land of Manifest Joy, a perfectly pure land, possessing excellent vessel and sentient beings, and all things beautiful, those who have a karmic connection with this place will surely be born there, without fail. Having been born there, may I and all beings to be tamed, closely rely on the profound and subtle teachings of the Buddha Akshobhya, and in this life, in this very body, reach the ultimate state of abandonment and realization. May I, in this way, perfectly accomplish the state of eternal bliss, and at the end of samsara, liberate all sentient beings, with spontaneously accomplished and unfailing virtuous deeds, attain the glory of the ocean of benefit for self and others. Thus, as wished, may all wishes be fulfilled as they are, through the compassion of the Bhagavan Buddha Akshobhya, and the power of the pure and profound accumulation of merit, may all truths be accomplished in due time. This concise prayer for the Land of Manifest Joy was written by Mati (Tibetan: མ་ཏི) at the request of Tenzin Pal (Tibetan: བརྩོན་འགྲུས་དཔལ་), who possesses the merit of diligence.
