【English Translation】 The Praise of Miracles First, generating the supreme Bodhicitta, accumulating merit for countless three asamkhyeya kalpas, and in the middle, destroying the four maras, I prostrate to the Bhagavan Lion! In the age of strife, the Tamer of Beings (an epithet of the Buddha) proceeded from Rajagriha to Vaishali, then to Kaushambi, Vatsa, Mahayana Shri, and finally to Shravasti, I bow to you. In Shravasti, when the six heretical teachers competed with miracles, in the manifest presence of many gathered people, I prostrate to you who displayed wondrous miracles! On the first day, when King Prasenajit offered, he planted a toothpick in the ground, and a tree grew, its branches and leaves flourishing, covering five hundred yojanas, satisfying beings with its fragrance, I prostrate to you! On the second day, when King Udayana offered, he transformed mouthwash water into a jewel pond, with lotus flowers of various colors radiating light, satisfying beings with its fragrance, I prostrate to you! 【English Translation】 When the Four Great Kings offer, from the emanations pervading the peak of existence, various rays of light arise from the body, everyone sees, hears the voice, and prostrates. When the eleventh, the helpless, offers food, the Teacher sits on a lion throne, the body disappears, transforming into a mass of light, I prostrate to the voice that teaches the Dharma. When the twelfth, the householder Jinda, offers, the light of the body pervades the three thousand worlds, manifesting the Buddha seated on a lotus throne, I prostrate to all who manifest in this way. When the thirteenth, King Shunza, offers, the light from the navel pervades the three thousand worlds, whoever is touched by that light is freed from all obscurations, I prostrate to those who obtain rice and other fruits. When the fourteenth, King Indra, offers, all the flowers scattered by the king, transform into a multitude of precious chariots pervading the three thousand worlds, I prostrate to all who see it clearly. When the fifteenth, Embodied Heart, offers, filling the vessel with food of a hundred flavors, striking the palm of the hand on the ground, from hell, liberating immeasurable beings, I prostrate to you. For the various miracles of the incomparable Teacher, I offer a brief praise, may this virtue enable all sentient beings to obtain the body of the Victorious One with great miracles.
