Swift and courageous mother, I prostrate with reverence to the assembly of goddesses! Please accomplish all wishes without obstruction! Tāre, courageous mother, the wisdom of the dharma realm, pervading the nature of saṃsāra and nirvāṇa. The primordial nature of perfect accomplishment, that very unchanging, eternal body. The unchanging essence of great bliss, possessing all supreme qualities. Transforming into the form of a beautiful goddess, swift mother of victorious activity! 1 Born from the beautiful face of Lokēśvara (Avalokiteśvara), the swift and courageous mother, protects from all fears. The mass of wisdom, crystal, and molten, Sarasvatī bestows the supreme speech. The pāramitā, the generous mother of merit, quickly alleviates the poverty of all beings. The victorious goddess, the joyful perfection of wisdom, purifies the obscurations of vulnerable beings. 2 The powerful goddess, Vidyārājñī, subdues all great and small in the world. The greatly radiant and terrifying great goddess, crushes the hordes of black forces. The powerful, invincible mother, reverses all harmful machinations. Surpassing others, the terrifying and fierce form, slays the demonic enemies who harm the teachings. 3 The noble Siṃhanāda-araṇya Tārā, fulfills all the desires of practitioners. The victorious one of the three worlds, the glorious goddess, subdues all the hordes of demons. The giver of wealth, the one who attracts all auspicious prosperity, subdues the wealth gods and protects the essence of prosperity. The goddess who accomplishes all auspicious meanings, showers down a rain of virtuous jewels. 4 The one who destroys the armies of the enemies of the teachings, the wrathful swift one, brings forth the strength of fierce activities. The one with extremely wrathful eyes, makes the enemies of the ten directions nameless. The greatly peaceful one, the supreme one, uproots the sins of this world. The one who blazes with fierce rays of light, crushes the bodies of the black forces. 5 The mother who subdues with immeasurable power, pulverizes all the realms of demons. The great peacock, the goddess who dispels poison, pacifies all the poisons of the animate and inanimate. The noble, invincible, victorious mother, averts all strife and bad omens. The solitary goddess, the mother who destroys all diseases, protects all beings from fierce epidemics. 6 The radiant one, endowed with miraculous power, quickly pacifies all harm from spirits and other afflictions.
