【English Translation】 Collected Works of Dokpupa Sherab Gyaltsen JDol119 Phyogs dus kun khyab ma Phyogs dus kun khyab ma Phyogs dus kun khyab ma Phyogs dus kun khyab, refuge in the Three Jewels and the Dharma protectors. With compassion, deeply contemplate sentient beings suffering from afflictions, From immeasurable realms, with unobstructed miraculous powers, Descend here, dwell in the center of the ocean of offerings and generosity. Merely remembering eliminates all suffering, Respectfully relying on grants the supreme and excellent, To those who reveal the empowerment lineage, essential instructions, and so forth, To the root gurus, I prostrate. A body like a wish-fulfilling jewel that fulfills the desires of beings, Speech like great medicine nectar that pacifies suffering, A mind whose wisdom and compassion are as vast as a fortress, To the lineage gurus, I prostrate. With the unmoving, three-fold vajra yoga, The ten signs of purified wind-mind become manifest, Practicing the central channel, abiding in the state of clear light, To the practitioners of the Six Yogas, I prostrate. Self-arisen, spontaneously accomplished, clear light, unconditioned, Unfabricated, primordial purity, the play of union, To the mind transmission, symbolic transmission, oral transmission, and so forth, To the Dzogchen lineage holders, I prostrate. Not engaging the mind, training the continuum in the meaning, Free from hope and fear, devoid of contention, beyond all intellect, Like Tilopa, Naropa, Marpa, and so forth, To the Mahamudra lineage holders, I prostrate. With the three continuums of appearance, oral transmission, and essential instructions, The four progressions dissolve into the central channel, attaining the supreme, Like the powerful Birwapa and so forth, To the Lamdre lineage holders, I prostrate. With pure intention, training the continuum through skillful means, External and internal obstacles are realized as the great Dharmakāya. Like Jetsun Dampa, India, and so forth, To the Shije lineage holders, I prostrate. Training the continuum with love and great compassion, Placing limitless sentient beings in happiness, Like the glorious Jowo Rinpoche and so forth, To the mind training lineage holders, I prostrate. Training the continuum in the meaning of no object of training, With equanimity of conduct, whatever arises is directly practiced, Like Machig Labdrön and so forth, To the Chöd lineage holders, I prostrate. In the vajra body, the wind-mind and dependent origination are harmonized, The wisdom of the four joys, the dance of bliss and emptiness is enjoyed, Union clear light is realized without coming or going, To the Six Dharmas lineage holders, I prostrate. 【English Translation】 Homage to all the Shangpa Kagyu lineage masters! By training the mind in the two profound stages of generation and completion, I have gained firm understanding of the meaning of the three crucial points. Homage to all the Red Instructions lineage masters, headed by the noble Avalokiteśvara! By training the mind in the meaning of freedom from bondage, I have realized the primordial luminosity, without coming or going. Homage to all the Resting lineage masters, headed by the yogi Maitripa! Having definitively freed myself from the faults of the eight extremes of elaboration, I have mastered the extraction of the essence of freedom from extremes. Homage to all the Madhyamaka lineage masters, headed by the master, the noble Nāgārjuna! By training the mind with the profound path of emptiness and compassion, I have traversed the ten grounds of the path of liberation through compassionate activity. Homage to all the Fasting lineage masters, headed by the supreme practitioner, the nun Gelong Palmo! By training the mind with the profound fasting dhāraṇīs and mantras, I have attained the state of a noble one of great bliss and liberation. Homage to all the Meaning Hook lineage masters, headed by the lay practitioner Shiva Gocha! Having definitively freed myself from the faults of the three: beginning, main part, and conclusion, I apply body, speech, and mind to virtuous actions. Homage to all the supreme Vinaya lineage masters, headed by the abbot Bodhisattva! By training the mind with the ripening liberation path and so forth, I have realized the great equality in which all grasping and fixation are liberated. Homage to all the Heart Essence of Interdependence lineage masters, headed by the victorious Maitreya! By training the mind with the profound generation and completion stages of the liberation path, I have attained the all-pervading great bliss in which all grasping and fixation are liberated. Homage to all the general Secret Mantra lineage masters, headed by the supreme guide, the great Vajradhara! By training the mind with the three wisdoms, the ground and path, and the four unions, I have brought the activity of the four kāyas to its ultimate conclusion. Homage to all the Sutra lineage masters, headed by the victorious Śākyamuni! By training the mind in the five fields of knowledge, I have attained the intention of the Vinaya, Sutra, and Abhidharma. Homage to all the Characteristics lineage masters, headed by the six ornaments, the two supreme ones, and Simhabhadra! 【English Translation】 I offer sounds, scents, lights, and tactile sensations to the Buddhas. I offer mansions of sandalwood, comfortable bedding, and precious thrones. I offer divine garments, skins of nagas, and shoes, along with precious jewels nearby. I offer to the Guru (上師，lāma, teacher), Yidam (本尊，yidam, tutelary deity), and the assembly of the Three Jewels (三寶尊，dkon mchog gsum, Buddha, Dharma, Sangha). Please accept with compassion for the sake of benefiting sentient beings. I confess all faults and transgressions against the three vows. I rejoice in the merits of all beings, both ordinary and noble. I request you to turn the Wheel of Dharma in accordance with our minds. I request you not to pass into nirvana but to remain with compassion. From this day until enlightenment, I take refuge. Until I reach the essence of unsurpassed enlightenment. I offer my body as your servant. I dedicate this merit towards the great enlightenment for the sake of others. With the ten-limbed praise, the sound of the ocean's roar. Whether seeing, hearing, or remembering, May we in all lifetimes completely abandon the two obscurations. May we swiftly attain the perfect enlightenment of complete omniscience. May the intentions of the Gurus be fulfilled, May the lives of the upholders of the teachings be long, May the practice of Dharma by the Sangha increase. May outer and inner obstacles be pacified, May life, glory, and wealth increase, May all wishes be fulfilled in accordance with the Dharma. May the suffering of past times be cut off, May deluded appearances not arise in the bardo (中陰，bardo, intermediate state), May we be free from places of fear and terror. May the clinging to reality and craving be completely pacified, May we attain the ultimate protection of the Three Jewels in the bardo. May we accomplish the eight great siddhas and the four activities, May we perfectly traverse the five paths, May we attain the supreme accomplishment of the five kayas and five wisdoms. Guru, Yidam, and the Three Jewels, Dakinis, Dharma protectors, Vidyadharas, and skilled yogis, Spiritual friends, sisters, Shravakas, Pratyekabuddhas, and Arhats. May it be accomplished as wished. By this merit, May I attain the state of omniscience, conquer the enemy of faults, And liberate all beings from the ocean of samsara agitated by the waves of death, sickness, and old age. By the power of mentioning the names and making aspirations to the Gurus, Buddhas, and Bodhisattvas, May we temporarily attain all happiness and fulfillment, And ultimately swiftly attain the essence of the Sugata-garbha (如來藏，tathāgatagarbha, Buddha nature). These are the essential points of the pure doctrines, without bias or exaggeration, approaching the Dharma with an upright mind, practicing the view, meditation, conduct, and result of each tradition as they are, so that the yogi is not ashamed of doctrinal errors, and the wise are not lacking in words.
