【English Translation】 The Praise of Sixty Protectors Hum! Though you never deviate from the state of equality, You subdue the hordes of the wicked with great compassion, And manifest in a form that is terrifying in its extreme wrath, Lord of Wrath, Vajra Force, I bow to you. Burning fiercely like the fire at the end of a terrifying eon, Trampling the lord of the bhutas underfoot, Separately issuing commands to all the wrathful kings, You who possess the splendor of a billion suns, I bow to you. Destroying all the obstructing forces above and below, King of Harmful Adornments, green-blue in color, Annihilating the demons into powder with terrifying weapons, To the one with the roaring laughter of 'Haha', I pay homage. Destroying the hordes of demons in the east and southeast, With a blue wooden staff, a terrifying form, Colored like rain clouds, with a curled tongue and bared fangs, To the one with hateful eyes blazing like fire, I pay homage. Destroying the obstructing forces in the south and the realm of the unreal, The king of desire, who causes delusion, blazing like fire, In an instant, turning all obstructing forces to ashes, To the unbearable radiance of the sun, I pay homage. The obstructing forces dwelling in the north and the realm of power, The wrathful king who destroys them completely without exception, The terminator of the lotus, the utterly terrifying, the immovable, To the majesty like a snow mountain, I pay homage. Cutting off all obstructing forces in the west and the realm of wind, The terminator of Yama, the mighty wrathful king, A body as majestic and terrifying as a golden mountain, To you—a body blazing with a thousand lights, I pay homage. Exhausting emptiness, wind, fire, water, and earth, Accomplished yogis, forms and formless others, Controlling the mind, causing appearances to increase and expand, To the feet accomplished in the five elements, I pay homage. 【English Translation】 May the gods, nagas (Klu, serpent beings) and spirits protect your body! May the planets and guardians of the directions protect your speech! May the wrathful ones protect your mind! May the six realms be purified, protecting all realms! And so on. Through mudras (phyag mtshan, hand gestures), realms, purification, etc., praise in detail or in brief as appropriate. According to the specific situation, pray and entreat, and engage in activities as appropriate. Invoke the six classes of protectors with their retinues, 'Come here and partake of this glorious torma (gtor ma, ritual offering cake)! Partake of this purified, increased, and filled torma! Partake of this nectar-accomplishing torma! Partake of this outer and inner torma!' And so on, apply as appropriate.
